Both humans and apes had prehensile hands, using there thumbs to grasp things. They both have nails not claws, and their eyes are positioned in the front of their heads. They also have similar teeth all with four different kinds. The most interesting similarity between them is the fact that they have single births then have a long maturation period for their children. Both when sitting have their trunks upright and have large brains in comparison to their bodies. They also both are social animals and live together with other members or their kind. Though apes and humans are close in nature they are definitely not exactly the same...
