In conclusion, I think that Chamberlain was pressured to pursue a policy of appeasement with Hitler, and based on this evidence, I think that he had no other choice. Britain's eagerness for peace was their downfall, but if other countries showed some support, maybe then an appeasement would have been avoided; and more importantly, Britain could have been harder on Germany (and not give them time to re-arm) and war may have not taken place at the time, since the appeasement basically let Hitler do whatever he pleased...
