The crisis lead to confirm that the Empire lacked the authority and grandeur in once had before. However, the strain the Empire has dealt with can be traced as premature as the early 1900s but the fact still remains that the Suez was an important tie to the Middle east, it exposed their limits, and committed to the fall of their government and almost the complete collapse of their banking system due to part of their military involvement in Suez...
