I think this continues for children as toddlers. We seem to protect girls more than we do boys when they are playing. We worry more about little girls falling down and getting hurt then we do a boy. We just think boys are supposed to rough house and climb tree’s and with girls we expect things like playing house or having little tea parties, and this is reflected in the types of toys we do buy our children...
