I thought one of the most interesting stories was how the archeologist actually found the fossils. It was such a chance discovery and it’s crazy to think that if the archeologist hadn’t seen the small piece of fossil sticking out of the ground, Lucy could have gone unnoticed and who knows if she would have ever been discovered...
