Cordelia is the youngest and most loyal and loving daughter of King Lear. She refuses to "heave my heart into my mouth" for land and power. Unlike her sisters, who falsely proclaim loving adoration of Lear, she tells Lear the truth that she will love him as her filial duty and share her love with her husband...
