The government does not consider the men prisoners of war, which means they do not benefit from rights under the Geneva Convention, which protects POWs from indefinite imprisonment and aggressive interrogation. And since the camp is not on the US soil, and the detainees are not covered with the Geneva Convention, many innocent men have no rights as human being and can not do anything about it...
