The tone is on a sad note. The seeting is probably in the late 1800's, early 1900's.
The thing that impressed me the most about this book was the theme. The story had an amazing lesson that was learned. It was that that true goodness doesn't come from social standards or wealth, but from inner goodness... Showed first 250 characters
