To have so much confusion and misinformation behind what was believed to be a victory for the American forces which was the platform to show the contrasts between the realities of war and this image of war that was used as if it was a famous win. The flag raised in the photo was raised on the fifth day of a thirty five day battle, from the moment this image was released it hid the lies and deception which followed the three survivors through their bond drive of America...
